OSHKOSH HORROR PRESENTS: HENRY: PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER
Oshkosh Horror presents A Special Screening of Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer – Friday, June 18 8PM – Time Community Theater – $3 at the door and 17+
Loosely based on real life serial killer Henry Lee Lucas, Henry (1986) takes a very realistic and disturbing approach at portraying the life of a nomadic madman living in a world where all he sees are victims. Michael Rooker (Slither, Mallrats, Cliffhanger) makes his film debut and gives a haunting performance as the twisted madman Henry, and Tom Towles (Night of the Living Dead remake, House of 1,000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects) plays Otis, a prison buddy of Henry’s who is learning about the darker side of life from Henry. This film is on many Top… lists from such sources as Entertainment Weekly, Bravo and Rotten Tomatoes. Even Siskel and Ebert could not deny the power and rawness of Henry.
There will be an admission fee of $3, with all proceeds going to the Time Community Theater. Due to the graphic nature of this film, no one under 17 will be allowed in without a parental figure. Be sure to bring your ID, no ID = no movie.
