SEPTEMBER 4TH, 2010 – THE DEAD WILL WALK THE EARTH…OR AT LEAST OSHKOSH!
We’re proud to finally announce the official time and date for the 2010 Oshkosh Zombie Walk! Join us on September 4th, 2010. Here is a little info about what the Zombie Walk is, and why we do it.

IINFECTION 2010 is a free, all-ages, family friendly event that takes place on September 4th. Attendees show up in their best Zombie make up & costume to roam the downtown Oshkosh art walk route. The walk concludes at the Time Community theater for a free, all-ages after-party. At the after-party attendees may partake in raffles and purchase concessions. 100% of the proceeds from these sales go to the Theater. In addition, we have a number of great contests and multiple rounds of trivia, see below for details!

2009′s walk was a huge success. We were met with high attendance and great success, and managed to raise nearly $900 for the Theater. This marked the Theater’s most successful fundraiser to date.

THE PLAN FOR 2010′s WALK
Here are the specifics!
- TIME: SEPTEMBER 4TH, Arrive at 6:30 pm, Walk begins promptly at 7:00 pm
- MEETING PLACE: The alley behind House of Heroes comics & games (407 N Main St – Oshkosh, WI)
- The Walk follows the art-walk routing and concludes at the Time Community Theater, where the official after-party is held. Again, this is an all-ages, family friendly event. All are welcome, even if you’re not in Zombie garb! The after-party will have a variety of contests, trivia, and raffles. Alongside delicious concessions courtesy of Glass Nickel Pizza and Eaton’s Fresh Pizza & Subs!
- Contests & trivia on the agenda include:
BEST MAKEUP, BEST COSTUME, BEST DUO, BEST TRIO, MISS ZOMBIE WALK, BEGINNER TRIVIA, INTERMEDIATE TRIVIA, EXPERT TRIVIA, BEST THEME, MOST CREATIVE, FURTHEST TRAVELLED, ZOMBIE CAT QUESTION PRIZE!

GROUP RATE DISCOUNT AT THE CITY CENTER HOTEL!
We are glad to announce that INFECTION 2010 has teamed up with the locally-owned downtown hotel, The City Center, to bring all of you zombies roaming in from out-of-town the option to stay overnight in Oshkosh at a discounted rate! The City Center is a great hotel just 3-4 blocks from both the FREE Friday Night Zombie Walk Kick-Off at the Reptile Palace, and the gathering place for the actual Zombie Walk!

As long as you mention that you’re part of the Zombie Walk group, your cost for a double room will only be $70/night! You can’t beat that if you’re coming from out of town. You can drive in on Friday, catch the killer FREE show at the Reptile Palace, get rested up, enjoy downtown, and walk it up on Saturday! And then you even have a place to take it easy & clean up after the walk. How much better could that work out? Not much, I say!
